Talent Management

- We have recently sold the extraordinary World War II memoirs of spitfire pilot and great escapee, Bill Ash. Bill had a hair-raising career as a spitfire pilo, was shot down over France, and was hidden by the Resistance before capture in Paris. He was imprisoned in Stalag Luft 3, the Great Escape camp, from which he attempted to escape seven times and was successful on the eighth. It will be published in the Spring of 2005.
- Alan Bennett's greatly anticipated new play The History Boys opened to excellent reviews, and will run until 2nd September at the Lyttleton Theatre. It was described by Alistair Macaulay of the Financial Times as "Bennett's finest work in decades".
Marketing
- After successfully carrying out the marketing and PR work for Vodafone's cricket sponsorship, we have now been appointed to handle their sponsorship of Manchester United. One of our first jobs is to project manage the Vodafone Cup, a new pre-season tournament at Old Trafford in August. Teams taking part are Manchester United, Boca Juniors, PSV Eindhoven and Urawa Red Diamonds.
- We have delivered a successful campaign for film distributors Alliance Atlantis in Canada for Michael Moore's Farenheit 9/11. Canada usually delivers 10% of the US box office - in this case it achieved 12%.
- To mark SunTrust becoming the "official bank of NASCAR", we organised a landmark event in Michigan, attended by 22 drivers, senior team personnel and the President of NASCAR. Singer Trisha Yearwood provided the entertainment at the event, which received great praise from both the client and guests.
- A two-day event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of powersports manufacturer Polaris is being organised and produced in July. This will include multiple powersports displays and demonstrations, along with musical entertainment for 20,000 employees, dealers and consumers.
TV
- Italian Independent production outfit, Einstein Multimedia, will shortly go into production with its local version of hit drama Footballer's Wives under the title of "Ho Sposato Un Calciatore" (I Married A Footballer), following the completion of a deal with us for the format rights. The series will air on Canale 5 early next year in a primetime slot.
- Popstars Turkey is continuing the global success of the Popstars brand - the 2nd series of the show is the number one programme across the "All Individuals" and there's talk of a 3rd series.
