GEM is also mentioned in this week's PR Week in Public Sector News, under the headline SE agency woos entrepreneurs:
"South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) is appealing to wannabe entrepreneurs to use its advisory service, as it attempts to boost business start-ups.
SEEDA's enterprise division has drafted in the GEM Group to help promote its services to hard-to-reach groups such as ethnic minorities, the disabled and older people.
'We give business advice to hard-to-reach groups that would not engage in traditional business support services such as Business Link', said SEEDA senior manager of operations and strategy Julie Kapsalis.
The agency will also help promote SEEDA's Make Your Mark scheme for 14 to 25 year-olds, designed to create an entrepreneurial culture among the young."
